It's official: Squad is now an international group!
Less than a year after our participation in Emmanuel Macron's official visit to Australia, Squad is taking its ambitions beyond our borders with the launch of its subsidiary, Squad Australia!
In May 2018, French President Emmanuel Macron invited SQUAD's CEO to join his official delegation for his state visit to Australia. SQUAD was selected, along with seven other companies, to participate in a Franco-Australian program designed to promote French know-how and technical expertise on the other side of the world. Among this selection of SMEs and mid-cap companies, SQUAD was the only representative from the IT sector.
Driven by the "contract of the century," in which France and the shipbuilder Naval Group committed to supplying 12 combat submarines to the Australian Navy, SQUAD immediately sprang into action to offer its experts' support to the defense group.
Before the end of 2018, five consultants had already moved to Adelaide, the capital of South Australia. Building on the success of these initial assignments, the creation of our subsidiary SQUAD AUSTRALIA enables us to stay on track with the strategic path we have set ourselves to achieve our medium- and long-term objectives in this continent-sized country.
