Paris, May 4, 2021 - A few weeks ago, the President of the Republic announced the acceleration of France's national cybersecurity strategy. Among the initiatives in the €1 billion strategic plan unveiled by the government is the creation of a Cyber Campus in La Défense, Paris (92). The purpose of this flagship facility is to strengthen the French cyber ecosystem by supporting research, the development of new sovereign technologies, and the training of experts in the field. Spread over nearly 26,000 m², the Cyber Campus will also showcase French excellence in cybersecurity on the international stage.

SQUAD, the European cybersecurity and DevSecOps specialist, has formalized its acquisition of a stake in Campus Cyber alongside 64 companies and professional associations. With its strong security DNA and high-quality technical expertise, SQUAD has been contributing to the development of this project since October 2020 by participating in working groups organized by the French National Cybersecurity Agency (ANSSI).

SQUAD will have a physical presence on campus when it opens in fall 2021, to facilitate cooperation with stakeholders in the ecosystem and participate in collaborative research and development projects.

" Contributing to the national cybersecurity ambition, serving to protect French companies and organizations, is a real source of pride for all our teams," emphasizes Antoine Hautin, Deputy CEO of SQUAD.

After a year marked by new achievements and the arrival of investor ABENEX as a shareholder, SQUAD's position among the top 10 French cyber players is now more secure than ever. The young group is moving closer to its goal for 2025: to become the European leader in cybersecurity and DevSecOps.

"Thanks to a high degree of specialization, our solid expertise, and the unwavering commitment of everyone in the company, in just 10 years we have grown from a provincial startup to a key player in France when it comes to cyber security," say Eric Guillerm and Marc Brua, the two co-founders of SQUAD.

About Squad

With offices in Paris, Lyon, Toulouse, Aix-en-Provence, Sophia-Antipolis, Nantes, Rennes, and Bordeaux, as well as Adelaide, Australia, Squad is a consulting group specializing in cybersecurity and DevOps.

Founded in 2011, the group plans to bring together more than 700 consultants by the end of 2021, with revenue of €65 million, which it plans to triple to €200 million by 2025. The group owes its success to its high level of specialization in IT security and DevOps issues, and to the strong relationships it has built with a client base consisting mainly of large corporations.

In 2020, Squad obtained PASSI certification from ANSSI (the French National Cybersecurity Agency). This certification, which allows the group to act as an auditor of information system security for organizations of vital interest, demonstrates the high technical level of Squad's teams and their daily commitment to securing their clients' systems and infrastructure.
