SQUAD, the French leader in cybersecurity and DevSecOps engineering, continues to protect its clients' sensitive systems and now supports them throughout Europe.
To meet this challenge, SQUAD has announced an unprecedented recruitment plan called "#HackYourDreamCareer," with the goal of recruiting and training several hundred specialists each year to increase the number of experts from 700 today to 1,650 in 2025.
Starting in 2022, SQUAD plans to hire 400 new consultants in cybersecurity and DevSecOps, a field that encompasses expertise in the secure design, deployment, and management of infrastructure, cloud, and secure applications.
The year will also be marked by significant investments in training, with €2.5 million dedicated to our brand new "Squad Up" academy, whose mission is to enhance the cyber skills of its students—employees—enabling them to meet the constant demand for up-to-date expertise and address the shortage of cybersecurity training in France.
The SquadeXperience, a pillar of the SQUAD employer brand
SQUAD combines the best of both worlds: the strength of its DNA, based on responsiveness, friendliness, and expertise; and the advantages of its growth, which offers excellent opportunities in terms of career development and mobility, both in France and abroad.
"We are attractive because we offer professional and personal development opportunities that make a difference. We invest in the quality of our employees' "experience." This is what we call the 'SquadeXperience', which covers the entire experience of our teams: from their first contact with the company during the recruitment process, to the quality of the welcome they receive within the teams, to the support they receive from managers on a daily basis," says Eric Guillerm, President and co-founder of SQUAD.
By ranking SQUAD as thefifth best employer in France in its latest ranking on work-life balance, Glassdoor recognizes this commitment. "Our consultants choose SQUAD for its promise of a company where they can enjoy their work and flourish technically: living up to this promise is our daily motto," adds Myriam Hofer, Head of SquadeXperience.
Over €2 million dedicated to skills development in 2022
Building on its success in recent years, SQUAD now has the resources to increase its investment in training tenfold. In 2022, the group will dedicate €2.5 million to training its consultants, a rare level of investment: e-learning and training platforms, cyber ranges, specialized training, technology partnerships, and funding for the most sought-after technical certifications are all on the agenda. "Our priority is skills: if major French groups trust SQUAD, it is because they trust our consultants, who have proven their technical excellence," emphasizesMarc Brua, CEO and co-founder of SQUAD.
Squad launches its Academy: SQUAD UP!
SQUAD intends to take training to another level by creating an academy specializing in cybersecurity and DevSecOps. SQUAD UP! aims to train several hundred consultants each year in highly specialized fields.
"In a sector under intense pressure, we need to be able to attract the best cybersecurity experts, but that won't be enough. With our academy, we also want to attract all potential candidates: young graduates, or engineers and architects who want to evolve—or retrain—and add cybersecurity to their skill set," explains Eric Guillerm.
He adds: "We want to offer real degree programs to developers who want to specialize in AppSec, to systems engineers to guide them towards DevSecOps, to network experts to support them towards SecOps, and to credit risk managers who want to understand cyber risk. For these professionals, it also means they'll be more "bankable" because they'll be keeping up with technological developments in the IT sector and the challenges of our time."
SQUAD, the essential partner for the pillars of the European economy
SQUAD's appeal also stems from its commitment to offering its consultants stimulating projects for a diverse range of clients and on a variety of assignments that contribute to their professional development. SQUAD's reputation and offering, built since 2011 on a strong specialization in security, enable the specialist to address the concerns of large groups affected by cyber issues. They give its consultants access to strategic, 360° assignments with major players in the defense, banking, and telecommunications sectors. These multi-sector partnerships ensure that SQUAD's consultants are at the heart of European cyber resilience.
Contributing to the rise of a great cyber nation
With this development plan, SQUAD aims to contribute to strengthening France's position as a major cyber nation, making it the spearhead of the response to cyberattacks in Europe.
