As part of its CSR commitments, Squad continues its efforts to promote diversity and gender equality. The Egapro Index provides a transparent way of measuring progress in the area of professional equality between women and men. With a score of 94/100 and the signing of the collective agreement on this issue, Squad intends to continue its efforts and achieve the objectives set by management.

At Squad, professional equality between women and men is a reality, as evidenced by the company's high score on the Égapro Index: while the national average for companies of this size was 82/100 in 2019-2020, Squad scored 94/100, and maintains this score in 2020-2021, while the digital services sector scores 89/100. Aware that only 2% of French companies achieve a score of 100%, management affirms that this is the goal the company must strive for, a benchmark that must guide Squad's development.

Squad pursues a policy aimed at promoting professional equality between women and men. The objectives of this policy are:

  • Promoting gender diversity in the workplace from the hiring process onwards
  • Ensuring equal access to career advancement and training
  • Integrate the fight against wage inequality into the company's wage policy
  • Attracting more women to digital fields
  • Addressing gender stereotypes

In accordance with legal provisions, the gender equality index corresponds to the sum of the results obtained by the company for each of the following four indicators:

  • The gender pay gap,
  • The difference in individual increase rates,
  • The percentage of female employees who received a raise in the year they returned from maternity leave.
  • The number of employees of the underrepresented gender among the ten highest-paid employees.

Egapro Index Notes 2021

Squad is more committed than ever to greater diversity in our professions. Aiming for gender equality in the workplace is all the more ambitious given the significant imbalance that exists upon leaving school. Indeed, raising awareness from an early age is essential to encourage young girls to consider careers in technology. In early 2022, Squad announced the signing of a partnership with CEFCYS, whose mission is to promote and advance the presence and leadership of women in cybersecurity professions.
