Squad, a consulting firm specializing in cybersecurity, and ESIEA, the engineering school for useful digital technology, have been partners since 2019 with the aim of offering cybersecurity students training that is as close as possible to industrial and entrepreneurial reality, in order to facilitate their integration into professional life.
Together, the two entities prepare and train future experts by actively contributing to educational and technological innovation and scientific research, and by encouraging diversity among those who pursue careers in engineering.
This year, Squad andESIEA are strengthening their partnership around two CSR commitments: diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Squad's Mission Handicap program offers 10 students in the cybersecurity program the opportunity to obtain the Handimanagement label issued by the training organization Companieros.
This program creates the conditions for a change in attitudes and behavior towards disability. It is designed to inspire participants to become committed advocates for the inclusion of all people in their companies. The goal is to ensure the successful professional integration of people with disabilities within a performance-oriented culture.
"Through this enhanced partnership with ESIEA on CSR, the scope of Mission Handicap's work has taken on a new dimension. Our commitments to diversity and inclusion now go far beyond the corporate environment, enabling us to provide optimal working conditions for Squad employees with disabilities. It is a real achievement and a source of pride to contribute to changing management practices and, therefore, attitudes," says Marianne BRUEL, Head of Mission Handicap at Squad.
