Marc-André Beaudet has joined the Squad Group's executive committee, with the goal of organizing the company's areas of expertise, ensuring operational excellence and service quality, and enhancing client security.

This appointment is part of a strong growth trajectory.
For the Squad Group, the goal is clear: to strengthen its capabilities and institutionalize operational excellence in order to guarantee its clients high-quality execution, risk management, and reliability.

“Squad’s growth is leading us to take the next step: strengthening our organization, structuring our areas of expertise, and further raising our standards for quality and execution. Our ambition is to build a leading French cybersecurity group, without ever separating technical excellence from the value we deliver to our clients. In this regard, Marc-André’s background—spanning cybersecurity, governance, operational management, and in-depth knowledge of the government sector—is a major asset.” said Nicolas Martinez, Deputy CEO of the Squad Group.

In-depth knowledge of public and private sectors

With more than 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, Marc-André Beaudet has worked in both government agencies and large private companies, developing a deep understanding of their security challenges and operational constraints.
During his career in the public sector, he held successive positions as an analyst, architect, and cybersecurity expert at the National Agency for the Security of Information Systems (ANSSI), the CNIL, and the Ministry of the Interior.
In the private sector, he headed cybersecurity at CNP Assurances Protection Sociale, after serving as Group CISO at Filhet-Allard and Regional CISO at Enedis.

This background has given him extensive knowledge of cybersecurity issues. He has a thorough understanding of both the technical aspects—from intrusion detection to architecture—and the strategic issues: governance, risk management, and compliance. Finally, he has experience leading complex projects and managing multidisciplinary teams.

A Unique Selling Point for Squad Group Clients

Government and defense entities account for 30% of the Squad Group’s clients. These organizations have high standards regarding sovereignty, confidentiality, and compliance with national standards. Marc-André Beaudet has first-hand knowledge of their constraints and operating methods. This knowledge, combined with his expertise in the private sector, is a key differentiator that enables him to design and deliver solutions that meet the challenges faced by clients, whatever they may be.

Structure our expertise and raise our delivery standards

Finally, as Chief Technical Officer, Marc-André Beaudet will be responsible—working closely with the Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer, among others—for continuously advancing the Group’s expertise in light of client needs. His efforts will thus focus on structuring and creating synergy among practices, with the constant goal of ensuring service quality and optimization for clients.

For the Squad Group, the quality of delivery is crucial. It is what transforms a cybersecurity strategy into concrete, reliable solutions tailored to real-world conditions. It is also what clients expect from a strategic partner, given the constant threats and growing operational and regulatory constraints.

“By joining the Squad Group, I have the privilege of playing an active role in the development of a leading French cybersecurity company. On a day-to-day basis, my goal is to provide our teams with a common framework and high standards, so that every project fully addresses the challenges faced by our clients, both public and private.” concludes Marc-André Beaudet, Chief Technical Officer of the Squad Group.
