Against a backdrop of increased pressure on information systems, tighter regulations, and increasingly complex cyber threats, the Squad Group has announced a sustained recruitment drive with more than 350 positions available over the year, exclusively dedicated to cybersecurity roles in France and internationally.
More than 200 new hires are planned for the first half of the year, spread across France, Spain, and Switzerland. To date, more than 30% of the half-year target has already been achieved, confirming a trajectory in line with the group's ambitions and its ability to attract expert profiles in a particularly tight market.
These recruitments concern all of the Group's brands: Squad, Squad Cybersolutions, and Scassi. Their aim is to support the development of each brand and respond to the diversity of customer needs.
A recruitment strategy aligned with the challenges of major accounts
The Squad Group's growth is based on a clear strategy: supporting high-value-added, often critical client projects in increasingly complex technological and regulatory environments. This requirement translates into a priority focus on experienced and senior profiles capable of responding quickly to strategic assignments.
The group is therefore focusing its recruitment efforts on high-level cyber expertise, with specific needs in the following areas:
- cyber architecture
- Incident detection and response (Modern SOC)
- identity and access management (IAM)
- governance, risk, and compliance (GRC)
Recruiting experts... and cybersecurity leaders
Beyond technical expertise, the Squad Group is looking for experts with true leadership skills: women and men capable of structuring security systems, promoting a vision, supervising and developing teams, and acting as trusted partners for IT, cyber, and business departments.
This approach reflects the group's desire to build lasting expertise based on knowledge transfer, operational excellence, and the ability to manage cyber issues at the organizational level.
Sales recruitment to support and structure growth
In addition to technical profiles, Squad Group also recruits experienced and senior sales professionals specializing in cyber environments. Their role is key: supporting business growth, structuring relationships with key accounts and partner publishers, and promoting cyber offerings with high strategic value.
These sales profiles work closely with teams of experts to ensure a detailed understanding of customer issues, consistency between sales promises and delivery, and the ability to address complex and highly regulated cyber environments.
A strong and balanced regional presence
While Paris accounts for the largest volume, with more than 70 recruitments by the summer, the momentum is nationwide. Recruitment in France is also spread across agencies in Aix-en-Provence, Lyon, Toulouse, Nantes, Sophia-Antipolis, Rennes, Brest, and Lille, reflecting the group's desire to draw on local expertise as close as possible to its clients' ecosystems.
Structuring recruitment in the face of cyber talent scarcity
Faced with a shortage of expert profiles and increasingly complex searches, the Squad Group has undertaken a major restructuring of its recruitment organization in order to combine volume, high standards, and quality integration.
"Recruiting cybersecurity experts requires an unprecedented level of expertise, with a refined, structured, and proactive approach. We have evolved our recruitment organization to be more efficient, more specialized, and better aligned with the challenges of our key account clients. Our goal is clear: to secure the best talent at the right time to sustainably support the group's growth and technical excellence," explains Emilie Gossmann, Recruitment Director.
This structure enables the group to anticipate needs, reduce recruitment times for hard-to-find profiles, and ensure high-quality integration, a key factor in performance and retention.
