A partnership that brings immediate synergy
Founded in 2019 by Fabien Guillaume and Patrice Wang, Løvell Consulting is a leading consulting firm specializing in governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC), resilience, and identity and access management (IAM). In just a few years, Løvell Consulting has established itself as a preferred partner for CISOs and business leaders at large organizations, combining methodological rigor with the ability to translate complex challenges into operational decisions.
For Squad, this merger is part of a strategy to achieve a comprehensive offering.
The Group has built a recognized depth of technical expertise across the entire cybersecurity spectrum: governance and resilience, cloud security, IT & OT networks, identity, Zero Trust, Exposure Management, AI engineering and security, and managed services. By integrating Løvell, the Group naturally adds strategic consulting capabilities that round out its offerings.
“Patrice Wang and I built Løvell around a simple idea: to provide cybersecurity consulting with high standards and without unnecessary complexity, working closely with our clients. In just a few years, our teams have established a strong reputation in the areas of GRC consulting, resilience, and IAM.
Joining Squad marks a new milestone that gives us the means to support our clients on more transformative projects and provides our employees with a development framework that matches their talents. We share with Marc and Eric the same vision for the industry and the same ambition for the Group we are building together.” Fabien Guillaume, co-founder of Løvell Consulting
This merger opens up immediate business development opportunities. The strong complementarity of the two entities’ expertise and track records creates natural synergies for tackling broader, more strategic projects: starting today, Squad’s clients benefit from integrated consulting support, while Løvell’s clients gain access to the Group’s entire portfolio, with no disruption to the client relationship.
“We founded Squad with the conviction that there was a need for a player capable of addressing cybersecurity comprehensively for major French enterprises. With Løvell, we are addressing a new aspect of cybersecurity: strategic consulting. Thus, with each acquisition, we are improving our ability to meet our clients’ expectations.” Marc Brua, CEO and co-founder of the Squad Group
A structured growth path toward European leadership
This acquisition is part of a consistent acquisition strategy. In 2024, Squad acquired Newlode, expanding its capabilities in integration and managed services, and Scassi, which strengthened its expertise in industrial cybersecurity (OT). With Løvell Consulting, Squad rounds out its portfolio by adding a new, foundational dimension to its offering: high-value-added strategic consulting.
Founded in 2011, the Squad Group now has more than 850 experts, 11 offices in France, and 3 international locations, with projected revenue of €135 million in 2026. The Group operates in the most demanding sectors, including banking and insurance, defense and aerospace, energy, manufacturing, services, and luxury goods. Building on this foundation, Squad is now developing a Group capable of combining critical mass, depth of expertise, and operational excellence: the three hallmarks of a future European leader.
“Resilience is a top priority for businesses. Our Modern Cybersecurity approach emphasizes that resilience must be factored in from the very beginning of the cybersecurity strategy development process. With Lovell, we are now fully capable of implementing Modern Cybersecurity for our major clients.” Éric Guillerm, President and Co-founder of the Squad Group
A market that calls for an integrated response
This merger comes amid unprecedented regulatory and technological pressure. NIS2, DORA, and the AI Act are fundamentally reshaping organizations’ cybersecurity obligations: governance, risk management, compliance, and the security of AI systems.
These challenges call for structured, high-level consulting support, which the Squad Group is now fully equipped to provide.
A shared vision and a common goal
For Løvell, this merger marks the beginning of a new chapter.
Fabien Guillaume and Patrice Wang, the co-founders, created Løvell with the conviction that cybersecurity consulting can only be effective if it is conducted with rigor, an independent mindset, simplicity, and an intimate understanding of their clients’ constraints. By joining Squad, they are equipping themselves to scale this ambition to a larger level, with resources, complementary expertise, and a national and international presence that Løvell could not have achieved on its own within a comparable timeframe.
The high standards, commitment to service, and customer focus that define Løvell are fully aligned with Squad’s DNA. Beyond the business opportunities, it is the human aspect of this partnership that gives it meaning.
Løvell employees are joining a Group that shares their vision of cybersecurity and their values, and that opens up broader development opportunities by giving them the ability to work on a wider variety of projects and accounts.
Finally, for Løvell’s clients, continuity is ensured in a completely transparent manner: the teams and business approach remain unchanged and are now backed by the strength of a leading group.
Effective today, Løvell Consulting is adopting the tagline “Løvell, powered by Squad,” which clearly reflects its integration into the Group.
